Psych

Posted on July 28th, 2008 :: 9:12 am by Greg

For a while now, my parents, knowing we are fans of the show Monk, have said that we would enjoy the USA Networks show, Psych. So much so that they gave us the first season on DVD! But, as you might already know, life has been quite busy around here, so we have not taken/found…

A friend who is also a web designer passed this along to me today. I thought it was pretty funny. If you do design work, you might as well. 🙂 Enjoy…

Arnold Speaks

Posted on July 16th, 2008 :: 11:25 am by Greg

A friend sent me a JibJab video today, and one of the “related video” links was an animated Arnold Schwarzenegger… so I clicked, and found there is a whole site of videos (allegedly) posted by Arnold himself. 🙂 From what I saw, pretty funny stuff. Enjoy.

Free Derek Webb Album – The Ringing Bell

Posted on July 3rd, 2008 :: 9:50 am by Greg

If you’re a fan of Derek Webb, chances are you already have this album. But, if you’re a Derek Webb fan with very limited funds (like me) then perhaps you were waiting for something like this to come along. I got an email from the DW camp yesterday telling me I could get the album…

Unofficial Star Trek Movie

Posted on June 30th, 2008 :: 8:54 am by Greg

This weekend I discovered an unofficial Star Trek movie, which was released over the internet, officially completing this month. It’s a three part series which you can watch online, produced by Renegade Studios, and actually has many familiar Star Trek actors in it, some even playing their familiar Star Trek roles. The movie is called…

Nacho Libre

Posted on June 25th, 2008 :: 12:43 am by Greg

So, I am not a fan of silly movies generally, but our friends talked enough about the movie Nacho Libre (and how much they loved it) that I eventually decided to watch it. Jen even did… mostly. 🙂 We watched it with them again this past weekend (at least, highlights of it) and it’s just…

12-21-12

Posted on June 20th, 2008 :: 9:18 am by Greg

For some reason the topic of the world ending in 2012 came up in a conversation with a friend yesterday. So, I decided to look it up online and found a History Channel documentary from a couple years ago called Doomsday 2012: The End of Days. It was pretty interesting stuff… There are several strange…

How Did I Miss This?

Posted on June 9th, 2008 :: 11:38 am by Greg

How busy have things been around here of late, you ask? Well, today I was browsing my news RSS folder (for the first time in a while) and caught a few articles titles referencing the big WWDC keynote today at 10am PST… and I thought, “TODAY???” That’s right, folks. There are big doin’s today in…

Update from Greg’s Head

Posted on May 16th, 2008 :: 10:45 am by Greg

I must say this poor blog has been quite neglected for the past couple weeks. It seems that my writing certainly goes in cycles. Sometimes I have lots to say and just can’t help myself, so this blog is full of things to read. Sometimes I am so full of things to do that even…

What Ever Happened To Steve?

Posted on April 15th, 2008 :: 10:43 am by Greg

We have kids. Lots of ’em. And they all like Blue’s Clues. As do we. We even don’t mind Joe, who replaced the un-replaceable Steve a couple years back now. Steve is definitely the best. Well, not really sure why, but this morning I decided to Google “what happened to blues clues steve”. Turned out…
