While it’s still Mother’s Day… just wanted to let you all know how cool my mom is.

Besides the fact that she listens to the Beatles and Led Zepplin and other great stuff.

Besides the fact that she’s a great cook – of just about anything you can think of! (Including awesome cakes for every occasion!)

Besides the fact that she is amazingly good at making people feel welcomed, important, and comfortable in her home.

Besides the fact that she is the coolest gift-giving person I know (besides my wife, of course) 🙂

Besides the fact that she is the one who taught me my multiplications tables and helped bump me up a grade so I could meet my aforementioned wife.

Besides the fact that she put up with my somewhat independent and arrogant teenage years.

Besides the fact that she put up with me at all.

She’s still pretty cool.
