With the warmer weather, we all headed outside today to get to work on some post-winter, outdoor jobs. I spent 3.5 hours cleaning out the winter “collection” from our van. Oh man, it was bad! But it’s not now. It’s almost like brand new! Sorta…

While I did that, Jen and the kids picked up sticks and raked the junk up around our back yard. I finished up with the boys in the afternoon, and now tomorrow we’ll tackle our front yard (and our tiny side yard.) As always, once the work was complete for the day, we enjoyed a nice tall glass of lemonade! You can’t work outside without topping off the day with a cool glass of lemonade! 🙂

I feel like, despite the blazing 72º heat, we pretty much accomplished what we set out to do today… so, that’s always good!

For tonight, Grandma (Jen’s mom) is here, so we’re going to have a little cookout … burgers on the grill!
