You ever just wake up and think… whoa… how am I going to do this day? I just did. The sheer amount of what I need to do TODAY seems quite insurmountable… but I am about to begin an attempt to do so.
Perhaps you are wiser than I and do not schedule several large projects ALL AT THE SAME TIME? 🙂
Just for my blog reading friends, I will share some of the list I made today:
- August Concert Series: get tables, sound system, sponsors, make poster, bulletin inserts to churches, someone to cover for the sponsor who ducked out yesterday…
- basic: plan songs for tonight, string guitar, contact band – set up rehearsals for this month, schedule west coast trip and december gigs
- basic recording: Set up recording times for THIS weekend (our engineer returns TODAY from vacation, we start recording tomorrow!), schedule recording sessions with other players, rehearse for my parts, complete CD artwork and get it to the CD replication place
AND THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Check up on the insurance company that has not sent our check yet for our van repair (did I tell you that story? I don’t think so… stay tuned for a future blog on our trailer skidding adventure!)
- CROSSWINDS! We are leading several services in the next couple months, and need to get some worship sets planned 🙂
- BWD-Graphics – need to invoice a client or two, and set up more things for current clients and set up some appointments with several potential clients…
And that’s just a sample. I hope to at least get the top list started today…
🙂
Whoa.
wow. it’s a good thing you’re not busy then.
