We keep hearing about the need for universal healthcare… that everyone should have full coverage available from the government. At our expense.

At first, it sounds like a good idea… but I think the real thing is not that the government should cover the huge and rising medical costs (using our tax money, so we are still paying for it). Rather, I think the government needs to step in and put HUGE limits on the medical malpractice lawsuits that are filed that keep the cost of practicing medicine extremely high and rising.

Wouldn’t that be better?
