It was pretty cool, so I pasted it in the sidebar to the right.  The funny thing is, talk about out of context! Given that I am now employed by Apple, I will refrain from speculating on any of the product or service announcements that will be made, but this invitation went out from Apple this week, regarding an event scheduled for next Tuesday morning (local time) in San Francisco. We get together every Labor Day weekend, and this time, at Jen's request, Dad broke out the old slide projector and we spent an hour or so looking at old photos.

I get to meet and talk with people of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.  That's a pretty fun part of the job, actually.

A couple days ago, I got to meet a few guys that were even more fun to chat with, being a long-time (big) Buffalo Bills fan.

I was working in the iPhone section, and a couple guys came up to check out the phones. Holy cow.  That's crazy.  I won't elaborate here (as I already did there) but suffice it to say, our division (the AFC East) has gotten significantly more interesting.

I found a cool game via a web link from Facebook, I believe.  It's a site that sells lots of games for the Mac, offering a free 1-hour demo of each.  I saw this one called Burger Shop at #3 on their Most Popular list and decided to try it... it was a blast!  I showed it to the boys and they loved it, too!

I followed a link to a pretty fun site yesterday.  It's called Wordle, and lets you take any text, or URL, or feed from any site and make a random word picture from the text that you give it.  Very fun, actually!

I did a couple more images.  First, when I just took the text and pasted it in, the biggest word was "just".  Ha! I just gotta say... Our tomatoes are doing so great!  We have gotten a small sampling of the cherry tomatoes so far - and they just taste fantastic.  There's nothing finer than homegrown tomatoes!
